These camps will take place at our beautiful Haskill Basin campus. Each week will have a theme focused around curiosity, connection, learning, and fun! You can choose from 1 week up to all 7 weeks or anything in between!

Dates: June 17th - August 1st (register for each week separately below) 

Time: 8:30a - 3:30p (Monday - Thursday)

Cost: $340 / Week ($255 for July 1-3)

A $25 registration fee is due at the time of registration as well as a $75 deposit for each camp.  For families registering for multiple camps, only one $25 registration fee will be charged and rebates for any additional registration fees will be issued following your full payment. Full payment is due 10 business days (2 weeks) before your camp starts.  Cancellations made before June 1 will be refunded the $75 deposit.  Cancellations made after full payment will not be refunded.  

If The Skola cancels for any reason, you will receive a 90% refund and the remining 10% will go towards next summer's camp.  

Camp Descriptions

June 17-20: Take Flight  ages 6-9

How does a bird fly? What makes the best glider? Campers will explore these concepts as well as learning about local birds, their calls and nature journaling!

June 24-27: Nature Driven Art  ages 6-9

The study of nature through art allows kids to experience, observe, and express their understanding of, and relationship to, nature and the environment. Come join and experience the artist in all of us!

July 1-3: Animals Around Us  ages 6-9

From habitats to scat, come join us as campers identify animal tracks, learn about hunters and gatherers, and understand how we play an integral part in the animal world around us. 

July 8-11: Plantology  ages 6-9

Come explore the campus using our 'eagle eyes' as well as using microscopes to discover what makes a plant unique. Campers will be dissecting and identifying seeds and will look at our local flora to bring some knowledge to your next family hike as they recognize plants from class. 

July 15-18: Shelter Building  ages 6-9

Campers will explore principles of structure and balance through creations made with outdoor materials. We will look at how different structures are used in the wild and work together to see the process of planning and supporting our teammates along the way. 

July 22-25: Nature Journaling  ages 6-9

Campers will be invited to slow down, pay attention and experience awe and wonder. They will dive into the journaling process and discover their creativity, curiosity, observation and critical thinking skills, building a connection to nature and the outdoors as they go.  

July 29-August 1: Simple Machines  ages 6-9

Calling all scientists!  Campers will work with hands-on experiments as we discover how things move. We will be working in teams to collaborate and build a simple machine.

This camp will take place on our magical Earthstar campus. Similarly to our "Fox" program during the school year, you may chose 2 days/week (Monday/Wednesday) OR (Tuesday/Thursday) OR 4 days/week (Monday - Thursday). 

Dates: June 24th - August 1st  **no school July 4th

Time: 8:45a - 3:15p

Cost: 2 Days/Week: $930 (for the entire 6 weeks); 4 Days/Week: $1650 (for the entire 6 weeks)

A $25 registration fee and either $100 deposit for 2 days/week or $200 deposit for 4 days/week are due at the time of registration.  Full payment is due June 10 (2 weeks) before your camp starts.  Cancellations made before June 1 will be refunded their deposit.  Cancellations made after full payment will not be refunded.
